Patch is pretty gimmicky. When he works, he works, but he's just not worth the hassle. Kahn is a better replacement for Peggy, and Billdozer should never leave your party once you upgrade.

I liked the level where you had to help Dale finish his bounty hunter contract, he gets a cool hat from it too.

You wanna talk about broken abilities? If you take Dale on the "Private Mercenary" (called Mr. Big in the european version) sidequest, he unlocks the Pocket Sand attack. Low MP usage and it blinds the ENTIRE ENEMY TEAM.

The sidequest is a little convoluted, but the power is totally worth it.

Just put points into Hank's propane skill tree, pretty early on in it you get an ability where a propane can lasts twice as long, and it is passive.

That should be enough to get through. Did you search through the chests in the back of the Strickland Propane building? I think there is another can of propane in a chest.
