The PA guys really have nothing to do with this comic. They might serve as executive producers but it's created by an entirely separate team which is probably why it's actually good. We don't know much about them yet, but what we do know about them points to them being a bunch of girl scouts in training to become a bunch of Poison Ivies. Tycho writes them creepy poetry about them killing their parents and one of their taglines is "Mercy never grew on trees."

Thornwatch they've fleshed out a lot more since they're the ones getting the tabletop RPG/card game. I think the story is that they're Lookouts deserters/veterans and cursed. People can summon them to save them from the monsters of the forest. They made a bunch of posts about it but it's all so disorganized on their blog; they need to consolidate.

But it's cool how they came up with this cute idea and then snowballed it into a larger fantasy world.

Oh my god I love this. I love fantasy shit, and fantasy shit with plenty of sweet creatures is even better. I wish there was a download link on /rs/ (I'm sure I'll find one if I look harder).

Eh, I find the setting kind of dumb to be honest. Thanks for sharing of course OP, but goddamn Automata had a lot more soul to it. Everyone's just kind of a retard and/or dick in this and when the original concept was pitched it felt like Tycho was getting way too "I'm so poetry" rather than trying to make something great.
