Fire away. I'm here all night. Only the best insider info for my bros. Raw, untempered and unfiltered unlike IGN or Kotaku.

OH GOD, PLEASE NO! TAKE IT AWAY!
Seriously though, worst thing i probably saw in all of E3.
Did you see any actual gameplay of Beyond? Is it mostly the same as Heavy Rain, or is it changed up?
How's Star Wars 1313? That one video online looks like it's just an Uncharted clone. Please tell me there's more to it.

They are really early in their development, but they got their tech down. ILM did some amazing stuff, it looked almost as good as CG but it was all real-time rendered, not one frame of pre-rendered visuals.
They showed us an extended level where they were arriving at Coruscant and descending to 1313 through a big ass elevator tunnel with their ship and it got attacked. The attackers took a big ass cage which the bounty hunter guys were keeping a really hostile, aggressive alien inside.
Like I said, they're still in pre-production. The models, even the voice actors were temporary and not going to be in the final game. They said they did that because they didn't wanna reveal anything about the main character or his mentor, a badass bounty hunter who knows 1313 inside out. They showed a new motion capture tech which perfectly mimics every muscle on people's face, even the eyelids and how they move when someone looks around.
But apart from that, the game was basically a really, really good looking Uncharted which happens to be about the Star Wars universe. Both ships were crashing down through the tunnel and the guy was doing some stunts, jumping between them, falling down and climbing back up.
And also, they were running it on the PC with stable 33 FPS.

I got hands-on time with Crysis 3. I was sceptical since I didn't like 2 very much. But hot damn that game looks awesome.
It was a PC build with keyboard and Xbox gamepad available as controllers. I've seen almost everyone except me and my boss use the controllers. But the game shines when you use a keyboard and a mouse. The game opens up with an impressive view of NY with the alien dome covering the whole thing up in the sky. I have to tell you, I'm not a graphics whore, but holly shit it was impressive. I realized at that moment that I haven't seen Crysis before that as I should have. Then again, they were top notch PCs.
I got to screw around with the bow. Tagged enemies, went stealth, ran like the wind, made a huge fucking jump, went out of stealth, shot two guys with the bow while in the air, and stomped a third one. Took his machine gun and wasted a few more. It was pretty awesome. When you use the bow, it doesn't make you go out of stealth mode so you can play it a little more sneaky this time. I have an interview with Cevat Yerli tomorrow so I'll know more about the sandbox, open world stuff then. Thanks for reminding me.

I dont even know what to say but It felt new and nothing like the others. I know alot of people are saying it looks like it plays like COD.
They are flat out wrong I went in a skeptic and came out a day 1 buyer. Its feels like a mix of Halo 2 MP/reach and its own thing.
It was real good surpassed my expectations. Pic of queen alien just because.

I never understood why the nips don't like nipples when they draw men. They're usually cool about human anatomy and animal anatomy, you can see movies and shows that aren't afraid to include a cat's asshole or a kid's dingaling (like in that dbz tree of life movie and gurren lagann), but guys never have nipples.
>>142325185
Ah yes, Beyond. Pic related.
We got into Playstation's press lounge. They were showing playable builds of pretty much every game they brought to E3. Beyond, Last of Us and God of War were hands-off though. I'll get to Last of Us in a bit, saving the best for last.
So the guy started playing and went on for half an hour. Showing continuous gameplay sections starting from when Jodie(Page) is sleeping on the train after being on the run for about a week now. You get to play as her and her ghost/soul friend Aiden. Aiden is bound to her and helps her out when she needs it. The guy was running through people and obstacles, fucking with train passengers, waking them up, making them feel incredibly cold, throwing away their magazines and coffee cups.
Jodie has no control over Aiden. The guy didn't explain why they were bound together and why Jodie could communicate with Aiden and how their relationship would evolve(I asked every single question, made him sweat a bit because he was struggling to not give anything away).
This one has a lot of info so I'll divide it into several posts.

I spent a while on planetside 2. It was funny cause they ended up having to force me off since I wasn't letting anyone else on.
>>142327501
Not OP, but I played it with my friend.
So apparently you fight eachother to build up a level meter to your "Super attack." Each time you fill it up, your super gains a level, which basically is the "Final Smash."
But people don't fly off the stage, it's when you get hit by the "Super attack" then you vanish off the screen.
Felt a lot like super smash, but felt really limited and unresponsive. It required the "Final Smash" in order to kill the opponent, which makes it more of a party game than Super Smash Bros.

I'm surprised someone of your intelligence level doesn't play on consoles. You probably play on Alienware.
>>142327195
You're just going to have to try it out if your curious about the game.
Its not a COD clone like some say though. I thought it was going to be, but It just wasn't no matter how hard I tried to tie it to COD.
BR sucks shit though its so weak now and the needler doesn't home onto anything for shit.

I think this cements that this is a marketing thread and the faggot is trying to generate attention.
I mean seriously, you did NOT need to bump and you know it.
>>142328240
So X is Jump
Square is Attack 1
Triangle is Attack 2
Circle is grapple or something
R2 activates the "super"
L1 is block (L1 plus Dpad makes you roll, SURPRISE!)
The first game I played, I had a bad time because I kept thinking UP on the dpad would actually make you jump. (and there is double jump, Surprise!)
Hitting didn't feel as good, maybe because there wasn't rumble, but maybe its because characters don't fly off the stage (but they do fly a little bit) after a successive combo.
It's too hard to kill other players without supers so, it just felt dumb, and when another player has a level 2 or Level 3 super, everybody is fucked.
Tell you the truth, it isn't that bad. One of my friends wanted to play it again, but I felt too jaded to try it again.

Watch Dogs and Last of Us were two of the best games I've seen on E3. I'm saving them for last so I can go into lots of detail.
I didn't get a chance to check out Planetside 2. My boss was basically dragging me from meeting to meeting. I have tomorrow all to myself. Gonna play every game that I missed.
WiiU gameplay pics coming after Star Wars.

Anyway, the first thing that they were pimping is you can actually control the character during chase sequences. So you're not watching a long cutscene, occasionally pushing the left analog stick right or left. You can actually control her movements while simultaneously doing QTE stuff. There was one whole section were Jodie was escaping with a motorcycle and you could drive it around, without any QTEs.
The engine is brand new. The art style looked a lot like Heavy Rain but some tech shit that they pulled seemed much more impressive than Heavy Rain.
Anyway, they cornered here somewhere so she asked for Aiden's help. The gameplay switched and the guy went into first person view. He said there were a bunch of stuff he could do, but decided to possess a SWAT dude, took out a shotgun from a police car's trunk and started opening fire at random stuff. The cops freaked out, took cover and got distracted so Jodie sneaked past them. She stole a motorcycle and drew away into a small town.

If I was gonna bump, I would've used a pic like this one.
I'm talking about games as they are, games from completely different devs and publishers. Do you think I work for all of them?
who gives a shit, ive been to 2 e3's and could have gone this year but none of my buddies went so i said fuck it
99% of /v/ has never been to one so they base it off of the keynotes which arent directed at them. the real fun of e3 is walking the floors and playing the games yourself, something that no amount of shitty streams can duplicate

No Strong Smash attacks or anything like that, because what you really want to do is to stop your opponents from attacking by playing offensive so you can build up your super, not to let your opponent rack up damage.
It's more of a party game than anything else.
It feels like a watered down Smash Bros BRAWL, but maybe it's because of the Demo.
>>142329629
Some cops open fire on her and she falls down from her bike, gets hurt. She asks for Aiden's help again. And that's when it got really interesting. The game went into full sandbox mode, shitload of cops building a perimeter around her location, a helicopter, snipers, SWAT team and bunch of other cops. So the guy possessed a sniper and shot two people before getting shot. After that he possessed a SWAT team member, shot three guys before putting the gun in his mouth and blowing his own brains out. He started flipping up cars like little balloons to create chaos. He knocked down a clock tower on to some cops, blew up the gas station and than possessed the chopper pilot and crashed the chopper onto the rest.
It looked quite good. It had more diversing gameplay than Heavy Rain. There was one scene where she was getting chased by cops in a forest and you could basically go anywhere. I asked if Jodie would end up in different places as well but he said the experience would be different but the destination would be the same, meaning she would always come across the same scene where she had to sneak by police officers before stealing a bike.
If you liked Heavy Rain, you're gonna love this. If you hate QTE and stuff Quantic Dreams rolls out, just pass this one. It's gonna be more of the same to you.

Sorry, I have a shitty point and shoot, so I didn't get a clear shot of anymore screens, but you can have Teddie and Yukiko in the supermarket.
The WiiU looked really good by the way. The graphics were quite well. They had playable builds of Batman, ZombiU, Pikmin 3, Rayman, Ninja Gaiden and they could fool me if they just said it was a Xbox 360/PS3 build. Couldn't get hand on time since I didn't have any time left after the interviews but I'll get to play it tomorrow all day.
The EA booth was really disappointing by the way. They had Battlefield 3 premium, Most Wanted(which was basically Need for Burnout which doesn't make it bad, but it doesn't make it Most wanted or Need for Speed), they had press showings for Dead Space 3, SimCity which was covered by my boss, Medal of Honor, Fifa, Madden, etc etc. They were showing Mass Effect 3 trailers on the big screens. A game that came out months ago. That should tell you something. They only had Crysis 3 going for them but it was Crytek's baby in the first place so who cares.
This is it for Nintendo. I'll post a few pics from EA if you wanna see what it was like. It was mostly dead, they had people dancing to Just Dance 4, tournaments in Warner's booth(oh yeah, I saw Injustice. That is one handsome looking game by the way). I didn't even see any booth babes.
This pic from Hitman first though. They showed it to us yesterday, an extended demo where 47 was hunting 5 guys from a gang in a whole fucking town, sandbox style, going stealth. I'll tell more if you guys are interested. In the meantime, EA next.
I too would like to know how scripted Watch_Dogs was and what sort of tactics/freedom of choice went into the demo they showed us.
Are there other ways to approach that scenario?
Are there UNLIMITED different ways to approach any given mission?
Is there balance issues with the hacking powers (one being excessively more or less useful than others)
All things I would like to know.

I don't like wearing a trip, but you know it's me when the post has a pic attached to it.
Last of Us... I suppose I should not make you guys wait any more. I got some hands-off time with it in the Sony press lounge. Game's main designer from ND was playing it. He said it was not open world, it was level based and no day-night cycle.
The shit that really russled my jimmies was that he played it exactly like the press conference demo. He even intentionally missed to trigger the same fucking responses from the AI.
But... He sweared to God that it was not scripted and certain situations triggered the AI in different ways. Apart from that, they have an AI system where the enemy behaves differently depanding on what kind of weapon they have. The guys with melee weapons will try to flank you, hide in rooms and ambush you when you walk in. The melee was not QTE, nor it was one button click. He said the player was completely involved in the ass kicking, I believed him since he was pressing buttons while punching enemies. The melee attacks change depending on your surroundings just like Uncharted, only more variety and gore.
