That feel when Niles chides you for spilling the drink during the sherry pouring minigame.
i admit i fell for this. I just looked for a copy on ebay.
Rented this as a kid. I STILL remember how I failed the therapy radio show level so spectacularly that a caller killed himself live on air. Haunts me to this day.

>the game forces you say "I'm listening" even when you keep getting all the correct responses wrong
The subtlety of him saying "Paying a visit to Smith and Wesson" went over my 12 year old head
SNES was closer to the show, but the version on Sega was such a better game.
Whatever, the hostage stage was way more fun than the jet-ski one, even if it wasn't as rad.
But the cover says "only for Nintendo".
How did it get on the Genesis?
Was it a timed exclusive?
I remember finding the Cheers bar easter egg back when it was new, blew my 10 year old mind
I once looked through this game's ROM data, and found unused sprite graphics for
How do I beat Niles at Wine tasting? He gets me every damn time.
You can't, you have to cheat, he's so neurotic that his answers are perfect every time. There's a scene during the morning of day 3 where you can get him to burn his tongue at the coffee shop.
I was always impressed that if you move dad's chair away and then go to the kitchen and then come back into the living room, the chair is automatically put back to where it was. Actually I don't know if that was just software limitations or not.
Nice shit /tv/ meme you faggot.

the game is p.good for a licensed released, but how can you have a Frasier game without ''tossed salads and scrambled eggs''?
Oh, this motherfucking game. What the FUCK was with that secret level where yer Fraiser's dad trying to solve a murder mystery? It was totally out of left field. I actually enjoyed that part, but it was so short. The rest is all psychology bullshit and callers and drinking shit.
And getting that secret, OMG. Anyone remember how to get to that secret level? I don't, but I remember it was grindy.
Pretty sure it was an Aladdin sort of deal. The MD version was developed by a Japanese ATLUS team. Game is absolute garbage, typical licensed game, I think it pretty much 100% reuses the engine and gameplay mechanics from Super Widget, which kinda explains the questionable choice of having Frasier transform into a firebreathing Eddie with the appropriate powerup.
Alright, I've been at this fucking level for hours now. How the hell do I stop Eddie from staring at me? He's been doing it the entire time and it's really distracting.
Why are the controls on the Fraiser Crane crane level so difficult? How am i supposed to stop the crane pecking me and damaging my image
Did you never go to the store? You can go to the grocery store if you
get kicked out of every trendy restaurant in town before the game ends.
You need to make it fall in love with the crane doll you get in the crane game during the coney island stage.>B-but I didn't get the crane doll
enjoy your restart
Virgin detected. He makes the salad and eggs if you get him laid, though that requires you to grind Frasier's exasperation level the entire game so you can beat Roz in the drinking contest.
on the level where you play as the robber shooting frasiers dad in the hip
Can somebody tell me how to get to the secret Cheers stage?
its not a cheat, you have to have the cheers cart in and take it out, putting the fraiser one in
(125.45 KB, 1280x720)
>get to the chapter where you try to help Frasier's dad write that song
>the piano mini game sequence
>mfw I started the game at max difficulty so the keys aren't labeled and I'm tone deaf
Yeah thats an EGM aprils fools joke.
Thats one thing i really liked about fraiser when compared to more modern games that had music like oot; the complexity. Sure its a pain to use the left part of the controller for chords and the right part for rhythm but once you get used to it its basically a whole game unto itself.
frasier is infinitely better than super mario bros. 3 and if you think otherwise, there is an enormous probability that you might be a faggot
Design a Frasier game.
>Addams Family engine (the Snes/Gen version)
>Frasier sprite with chibi head
>Intro shows Frasier accidentally dropping his dad's chair out of the window
>Now collect the parts Frasier!
>instead of the mansion you walk around on the streets of Seattle.
>Collecting sherry bottles for points
>Going into buildings looking for pieces of the chair
>Don't get bit by dogs Frasier!
>Avoid the weirdos!
>Climb out the window and look on the rooftops Frasier!
I think I just ripped off the MSDos Blues Brothers game..
>spend too long in a level
>Lilith shows up, ala Baron von Blubba
I still suffer PTSD from this nightmare game
>>3630912>Lilith shows up>icicles sprout on the ceiling
i loved this game
Then hide the thread and let us enjoy ourselves in a mindless manner
Gotta love that kill screen
>"Scrambled eggs ALL over my face!"
Nintendos censorship policy didn't allow for references to salad tossing
You have to get the Cheers Matchbook item in your inventory at the start of the game. Then open your inventory outside the apartment on the street, go to the matchbook and press L to examine it 4 times in a row. It'll make a sound. Back on the main screen, move Frasier underneath the shadow of the 4th lamp post away from his apartment and press L.
The matchbook now becomes an item that can warp you to the cheers bar at any time, and aside from having ALL of the characters from the show, it also has every liquor item in the game, an endless supply of coffee, and a free set of tickets to all the optional shows (my favorite is the Opera with pretty much anybody, but it's also funny to see the Taming of the Shrew with Roz or Hamlet with Dad and Eddie)
Does anyone else find those radio DJS who comment on your post-stage score annoying?
(441.97 KB, 868x605)
Any opinions about the sequel?
Niles' big day was the start of the casualization of the series.
I dunno man. Maris was one of the most brutal final bosses in all of video gaming.
I remember just staying on the main menu and listening to the music
Not enough tossed salad

i didn't expect my thread to get this many posts on /vr/
Just how old are we to be able to understand each other's jokes about this show?
(117.25 KB, 578x658)
I prefer the simple platforming that the series used to be known for.
What was your favorite subweapon, /vr/?
Bowler hat, easily. It was a bitch to unlock though.
Microphone. Its stun ability can be a godsend in those later stages.
It was only in one level, but Marty's RV could plow through anything as long as you don't let that state trooper get you
(2.10 KB, 269x229)
Correct me if I'm wrong, but wasn't this an earlier effort from the guys who later brought us that EEnE MMO? Some stylistic similarities are pretty obvious.
Armagnac, you get it when you visit the level collecting the scattered pages from T.H. Houghton's 2nd book. much more powerful than the standard Sherry weapon
>>3630051>implying sex happened on a Nintendo console
go ahead, spread more playground rumors. We all know they had to go the tongue-in-cheek reference route to get it in the game at all.
And why does it have the tagline thingy from SMW?
You're mistaken. It was the devs of that Turbo Grapix 16 Seinfeld RPG who went on to make the EEnE MMO. Makes sense, both of them being shows/games about nothing.
Wow I think I've stumbled on the /vr/ equivalent of Mornington Crescent.>>3632479
Also, why does everyone associate Frasier with Seinfeld?
I could never got this game because of all the Nintendo shilling in the show. "If they are using marketing this heavily, the game is probably trash" Was my line of thinking. Too bad I missed the boat and a legit copy is out of my price range now.
Anyone get a repop from Aliexpress? What was your experience?
(350.93 KB, 640x390)
P.S. its rumored Michael Jackson collaborated on the music for the Genesis version
this is FAKE
there is NO such game

Sure... next thing you'll be telling us Polybius isn't real either.
fuck off with that weak ass b8
I don't care how good the blimp race level was, $150 was too high a price.
>>3632537>why does everyone associate Frasier with Seinfeld?
Both games were designed by the same development team.
>>3632558>the Genesis version
Shame that it was cancelled, it looked pretty good.
I heard rumors of a finished beta ending up on ebay at one point, but the guy who bought it refuses to dump it because it would lose its value.

>>3629632>playing Frasier on the SNES>not playing the superior Becker on the Atari Jaguar
What gave this game such a retro feel?
I could marry any one of you and not regret my decision.
Quit being a lying shit, anon. Becker didn't first air until 1998. Everyone knows its game is on PS2 and isn't even fucking retro.
Drew Carey for the Amiga 500 is true retroludo.
>that glorious feel when you find the secret Sega Saturn under the TV and then play some Space Harrier on it
Fucking love games within a game, holy shit.
fucking cucklectors. Have you seen the kickstarter page? I hope it never gets funded.

>still playing Frasier when you could be playing Seinfeld instead
Too bad the game was just a walking simulator with a few shitty fights in the office level. Mimi's final form is brutal if you didn't stock up on enough buzz beer though.
(16.18 KB, 250x250)
That feel when could never get past the Kane boss fight in that game.
Ewww hq filters.
Emufags ruin everything.
(457.75 KB, 750x522)
The Nanny game was such bullshit.
>Having to defeat Fran's aunt when she asked you if you going to get married.
>The nannying bonus stages at the start of the game.
>The obnoxious item hunt you have to do before Sheffield proposes to you.
>The C.C. catfight in the middle of the game where you're UP as fuck.
>Having to get enough points in raising the kids before Niles helps you.
Walking simulator that it may be, it had some damn comfy atmosphere.
Beforehand, get Daphne into the room so that Niles can't think straight.

I disagree, I think it's a very good game, but Full House: Tournament Fighter is the best game ever.
Didn't that game have racist depictions of black people in one of Kramer's levels?
Or was only the Japanese version?
(389.24 KB, 620x438)
>the game has no instructions and the loading screen reads "Real men do not use instructions."
Pshh. Everyone knows that was just a shameless clone of the Mr. Belvedere game.
my 20-something friends and I watched the show a lot in college through reruns

I've never heard anyone talk about this classic
>>3633576>NBC-era Seinfeld>SNES game
It was a pretty late comer to the SNES, but they didn't really have the experience or willingness to do an N64 game.
The Nanny game has some big issues, but the Mr. Belvedere game is a clunky-ass and boring NES game.

>>3633463>That minigame were you play as Al in a flashback of him as a US Navy Seabee in Vietnam
This isn't a real game fuck off
A lot of effort was put in for a shitty fake game cover.
Why in the hell did they decide to include Bulldog as a major character in that one? He is fine as a supporting role but Jesus fuck he throws everything off.
I remember going to a wine tasting and then the guy got piss drunk because you didn't hold his hand and make him spit out each mouthful.
Thinly-veiled /tv/ threads can fuck off.
What are you talking about, anon? We're discussing as classic hit SNES game which many of us enjoyed back in the day.
If you don't like it, why did you bump it after nobody had posted anything for nearly 3 hours?
I...I DON'T KNOW!
Yeah but at least he moves quickly compared to Frasier and Daphne and especially Martin.

Still pissed about it to this day
You have to beat the game with Joey, Danny and Michelle all on 1 continue. Worth it cause the dog is actually pretty op. Supposedly in the Genesis version he's easier to unlock
But Kenny ruined it in the show too (in that hotel room when he turned up uninvited). Of course they were gonna implement that in the game too.
Sage doesn't bump threads, jackass.
Yea, and then you gotta constantly babysit his ass practically everywhere you go. Bad enough I have to drag Martin's crippled ass to the exotic food market, idiot is liable to get me banned so I leave him in the car and try to finish my shopping asap.

because the genesis version was far superior. Fart Modulation = better bass.
that feel when would just listen to the intro music to this game over and over as a kid
Can confirm, you can use continues on the Genesis version
